How it works
From a tracker in the field to a dot on your screen, in three steps.
-
1
A tracker knows where it is
A small tracker travels with the vehicle or person. It works out its position, the direction it is heading and its speed.
-
2
The message travels through space
Instead of a phone tower, the tracker sends its position to a satellite. That is why it keeps working far from any signal.
-
3
You see it on your map
The position arrives on your dashboard within minutes, shown with an arrow for its heading and a trail of where it has been.
Built for the field
- Low power, long life: the tracker uses very little power and rests between reports, so it can run for a long time without attention.
- Nothing gets lost: if the tracker cannot reach a satellite for a while, it queues its positions and sends them all when it has a clear view of the sky again, so the trail on your map fills in.
- Nothing to install: there is no equipment or network to set up, and your team signs in from any web browser.
